This was a bad stretch of games to lose Dahlin and Tuch. Wonder how different the last two games would've been with them...

Olofsson hasn't scored a goal since January 26. That's 11 games...he has 3 assists in that time. 3rd period would be a good time for him to awaken from his slumber.

The blue line is something that is going to HAVE to be addressed externally. We don't have the prospect depth there that we have in forwards and at goalie. I get the whole build from within deal and support it, but KA needs to make a splash on the blue line this summer. Dahlin is elite, Power will get there. Muel is solid, Joker is meh, Boosh is a bottom pairing guy, the rest are detritus.

Stretches. I said stretches. And that wasn't on UPL.

I know a lot of people are ready to write UPL off, but I'm not. There are stretches of absolute brilliance with him. Yes, he makes mistakes and has some brutal games, but he's 23 years old. Patience might really pay off in a year or two.

Ugh. Sophie’s choice. UPL, Sharks aside, has been BRUTAL since the Break. Comrie has been only slightly less offensive. Maybe they have a miracle up their arse, but I don’t have high hopes for that one without Tuch and (I assume) Dahlin.

Olofsson is the most frustrating player on this team. He has to be the streakiest guy in the NHL. He’ll rip off 5-6 goals in 8 games then disappear for 2 months. Worst part is when he isn’t finding the back of the net, he adds basically nothing.

Need to root for Minny and Trashville. At least the Wings already lost.

Sucks, but not gonna overreact. Again without 2 of our 3 best players. CBJ have been, somehow, playing well lately. Schedule gets sporty again, but these guys tend to play well against the top teams…excepting Toronto. Would really like to see KA add some help on the D, it just isn’t good and that’s exacerbated with Dahlin out. Don’t know who’s left out there, though, as the dominoes have been falling and I don’t want to start mortgaging futures for a guy in a year where you’re not really a cup contender just to make the playoffs.

The Jackets let the Oilers storm back from a 0-4 deficit to tie it up in about 8 minutes of game time Saturday. Hopefully we can complete the comeback with a better ending.
