“I’m born on the prairies”, as in I am born. Present tense, about a past event?  Unless, you always have been, and always will be.  And your birth is metaphysical insofar as you existing as AI Kevyn.

Watergate does not bother me, does your conscience (if you have one) bother you?

Ah, so we're going to do the grammar police thing? Okie-dokie

They shoulda know what they had 2 years ago. Goaltending should not be an issue every year. And to be honest, not only do I think you don't know much about goaltending, but after reading many of your other posts, I don't think you know much about hockey in general. Sorry.

Wow, how rude. I'm born on the prairies where hockey players come from, grew up in a small town rink, played my first tournament at age 4, and know at least as much about hockey as you Mr. Classy.

Not sure how much you know about goalies. They play better with regular work. They want to know going into the season if they're #1 or #2. Every top goalie will tell you that. Goalies are a strange breed, (I was one for a long, long time, albeit at a lower level). Even Levi in Rochester is playing much better, knowing he is the true #1 down there.

I know plenty about goalies, what a strange thing to say. Yes, that's an ideal situation, but at times a teams goaltending situation is in a temporary state of flux. You don't get optimal situations all the time. You work through it. Your goaltenders are professional athletes. You see what you have, then you make decisions.

There’s no rule you need to run a competition with 3. There’s no rule UPL had to be the one dealt because some “fans” wanted it. You conflate at random. There’s a reason most teams don’t run a 3 man rotation:

it’s notably tough on all involved. If we had poor goaltending early in the year, and we did, ruling out the rotation as a factor given first hand advice of nhl players saying how hard it is seems very unreasonable

I think you're overstating how "hard" it is on them. They're pro athletes, they'll be fine.

If you don't know what you have with your goaltending, the way to find out is playing them, simple as that. Otherwise you could make a terrible mistake, such as trading UPL.

You should be disappointed in yourself.  It really appears that you cannot take any criticism toward the Sabres organization.  You don’t respect opinions that don’t align with yours.

Not true, they deserve criticism at times. What I don't like is repeated flat-out dumb comments. There is a vast difference. Unless you also think the organization is "preparing to miss the playoffs next year".
