Looking for a blue print on how to beat the Sabres, pass around this game film. If Miller wasn't standing on his head, this would be long over. Heard they were being outshot 28-7 before that 5-3. They threw a lot of pucks at the net before they got one. Had a feeling that Florida was going to kill it off. This game is exasperating to watch. They can't clear the zone on the PK and when they try they dump it right on a Florida stick. Roy made a nice save for Miller there.

The only bouncing I see is off of Sabres sticks and on to Florida sticks.. This is horrendous. Sabres are being beaten to every puck in both zones.

I missed the first period but was watching it on my Blackberry.. Back at hone and watching now.. At one point they were being outshot 10-1 and finished down 17-3.. That must have been UGLY!!!!

Well I'm itching to talk abut the Peter's fight. I don't get why it happened when nor do I get why it was needed. I'm even more befuddled by the statement that it calmed them down. They were playing like crap before that, I'll allow, but really is the implication that they need their resident goon to go throttle someone to make them play better?

What has impressed me about this team is the effort after a loss. Their longest losing streak this year is 1 game. I can honestly see them getting on a mini-roll now. Games against Panthers, Canadiens, Devils, and Panthers are all games they should win. Then home to Ottawa. Ottawa is really coming on now. Nice to see the team back together. The Amerks kids definitely were able fill-ins. AND BEST OF ALL.... A GAME WITHOUT ANY INJURIES....

This may be an unpopular opinion on this board, but there are only two guys on this team we MUST keep and they are Briere and Drury. Vanek, Max, Roy, Hecht, Mair, Gaustad are all good players but can be replaced. You build around the captains and Miller.

After an awful first five minutes, the Sabres and Miller came out of their funk. Good period. Novo looks okay. He put a shoulder into someone..
