RIT games are a lot of fun.  I've went to a few and the atmosphere is just spectacular.  The student section & band with all their cheers just makes it for me.  Glad to hear they won

Yeah, their games are a complete blast. The Corner Crew and the chants are amazing. They said AIC stands Also In College. Lol

  2. Cloud streets are a real thing around water. Just hope that it's near normal temps, or warmer on Apr 8th. If cooler air is blowing across lake Erie, it could be cloudy out around the lakeshore, but total blue skies 5-10 miles inland.

Yes, I'm a weather nerd. I have a wide open view of the sky from my driveway, and I'm inland. Just praying for good weather. I'll be in a lawn chair just chilling. Won't be drinking though. I have imaging and a stress test on the 9th. If you're in the Rochester area, hit me up. I got plenty of veiwing space.

  3. 3-2 Tigers after 2.

It's a great night for local college hockey. Hobart is also playing tonight, they are going for back to back D-3 championships right now.

College hockey in Upstate NY is thriving. I bet RIT could hang with the Sabres right now. They have a great goalie in Scarfone.

  4. I know, talk about last minute. I thought I could stream it through the RIT hockey site. But it's just a link to a pay site, like AHL TV. It's for the Atlantic Championship and if they win, they go to the NCAA national tourney. Game sold out in 2 hours and people have been tailgating outside Polisseni Center since 11 a.m. Those college crowds are crazy to begin with.

    Go Tigers!!!

Goaltending maybe. I think the guys they have for options in net are a couple steps behind the other teams.  All you need is to have a goaltender who is not at the top of his game mis-handle one or two shots, and that can be enough.

There is no Patrick Roy, Marin Broduer, Roberto Luongo, Marc Andrey Fleury, Carey Price back there. Canada usually had the best 'roster' but they also usually had one of those guys between the pipes....not this time.

Don't get me wrong, I think they are the favorite, just its an issue they usually don't have.

I was gonna say, the only real weakness (talent wise, not age) would be the goaltending. Which is crazy to me, considering all the talented goalies Canada has produced. Maybe they should consider Levi? 🤔
