I think Appert would be a big upgrade from Granato. I mean, it would be hard to get any worse, unless they brought back Ralph.

You've gotta watch Amerks games if you wanna see something somewhat close to that. I was at the game Wed night, and after a dirty hit by Cleveland, Cecconi answered the bell immediately without hesitation. A few minutes later Zach Metsa got lit up with his head down, but Murray still dropped the gloves and was there for his teammate. Something the Sabres are not willing to do. It's quite sad honestly.

He's still in Rochester, it's just an article on the playing time he's getting with the Amerks. As far as I know he hasn't been called up.

This is just insane. Cargo ship hits one of the busiest thoroughfares in Baltimore. Takes out a 1.6 mile bridge in one of the busiest commercial harbors in the world. The ship goes black, then the lights come back on, but the ship goes out of control and hits the bridge support. Only positive thing is that it happened at 1:30 in the morning, so not much traffic. Here's a sped up version of the video. Never seen anything like it.

The Sabres accomplished what they came to Calgary for. Got Krebsies a goal in his hometown. Job done, take the rest of the night off boys.
And when is the last time the Sabres scored on a breakaway, or odd man rush???

Yes. Tokarski has a below 500 record, yet they kept trotting him out there. Houser shoulda been playing more. If not for Toker, the Amerks would prolly have a playoff spot locked down by now. Houser didn't have a very busy day, 19/20, but he was solid when he needed to be.
And ftr, I didn't win any Bills stuff today.

Just got home from the Amerks 4-1 win over Utica. Hoping to pass out before the Sabres ***** show starts. The two dudes next to me today came from Buffalo. They said they wanted to watch a competitive hockey team.

When they show the players read off the starting lineup cards, they all sound like their dogs just died.
