I like him a lot but When you have so many Good. Prospects Coming Up from The. Pipeline It's easier to trade a player like him.

I would trade him for a very good goalie or defenseman

He has become a “glue guy” in the locker room and the best two-way player on the roster.  He has worked his way through the system, had his highs and lows, and has fully bought into being a leader.  They are going to reward him by making an example out of paying him.  Zero chance this regime trades him.

  2. Sorry, but picking a fight during the last two minutes of a loss is almost always a stupid decision.  There was nothing to be gained at that point, he was just frustrated with himself for sucking this season and decided to get his face caved in.  Which will end up costing his team with his absence.  Cozens has been a disgrace so far this season, but he has lots of time to turn it around and now some time to think about it.

Sure, not good enough on defense but that is not all due to defenseman.  Forwards are part of that statement.  Look at the high number of odd man  rushes against.

Right now both Power and Joker are looking bad.  Clifton played 25 mins because Muel was out. EJ was the only + player until the 5th Flyer goal.  That is when even he failed to shoot with a wide open shot.   The Flyers came down and scored after we overpassed  again.

They want everything to be easy.  Easy entries, easy shots.  As soon as the other team makes them work they wilt.  Has been that way Donny’s whole tenure.  Philly has like zero stars but they work hard top to bottom and that’s enough to beat these Sabres.

    They are mentally soft.

    Are you kidding me??

This is the WORST "Mexican" Restaurant in WNY...just terrible and unauthentic as can be.  They had no idea what Queso Fundido was that I regularly order in most other places, so I told them what it consisted of and it looked like they brought me watered down macaroni and cheese sauce with some weird looking sausage in it.  Then I asked for hot sauce and they brought me Louisiana Hot Sauce in a generic ketchup type squeeze bottle...no Cholula, no El Yucateco...Louisiana Hot Sauce. Food was bland and the salsa was runny like it was out of a jar.  So bad that we almost got up and left mid meal.  Left half the food and was the only Mexican restaurant that we didn't even want a box to take the leftovers, it was that bad.

I would rather never eat Mexican food again than go back to that joke of a place.

IMO, the best place was El Caporal which was on Union Rd near Galleria Dr but that closed many years ago when it got busted by federal immigration officers for having illegals working there...now La Tolteca(Williamsville-hired many of the workers from El Caporal), El Palenque(Amherst), Aguacates(Lockport) and El Amigo(Lancaster) are all good choices.

    Calm down.

  5. OTOH I was listening to a speech about effective leadership last night and the number one tenet was “be authentic.”  You have to own who you are and who you aren’t to be an effective leader.  I agree with this.  If Donny isn’t the hardass type he can’t pretend to be.  He’ll lose credibility with his players.  Has to stay true to himself first and foremost.

  6. Both the Sabres and the Bills lean a bit too much towards the development / college program vibe and too far away from "championship or bust."  That doesn't mean we need head coaches to call players out publicly and smash chairs in the locker room, but there are not enough signs of real accountability metrics in either organization for my liking.  That's not to say I don't love a lot of what Adams (and Beane) has done - but I just don't ever get the sense that a mandate for success is implemented by the Pegulas.  Scoring a B or B plus grade, and selling tickets, seems to be good enough for them (but not for me).
