Sold 4 lower level, center ice tickets for a grand total of $198. Was really looking forward to going to this game a month ago and now i won't even watch it on tv. I honestly hate this team right now and hope they get embarrassed every night they play.

I gave 2 in 212 away. They suck and are unwatchable.  Also gave away Leafs tix. Done with them for the year

I'm not sure whether the two are connected, but there's a word on the street that the Pegulas are poised to lose a sizable chunk of change on the Frozen Four. The timing of the bids and awards on that sort of thing would mean that Russ Brandon would have been responsible for PSE's numbers, projections. So maybe there's no connection between the Frozen Four financials and the recent shakeup. But the timing does seem somewhat conspicuous.

Good, prices are ridiculous. They priced themselves out of this market. 640 for 2 seats in 200's and I was dumb enough to buy them. They overpriced and ruined world juniors too last time.

So you now have concerns about Mitts because of a completely bs Twitter account that literally knows nothing?

That Twitter account is trash and is a step below even hockey buzz for being completely out to lunch.

Thought Strickland was well thought of?

And this from Sabres insider this morning

"Based on @andystrickland report, I’ve heard rumblings the #Sabres are offering Ristolainen, Mittlestadt, and 2 first round picks(this year) for Point and Callahan. Tampa is deciding if it’s worth to get rid of a star in Point"

This would be worth considering. Callahan and Risto have similar contracts so financially , Tampa can handle it.  Is all that worth it for Point? Maybe.

Not a fan of this at all. Giving up way too much imho. Also now I have concerns about Casey. Did  this organization screw up another top prospects development?

I don't have to tell you things are bad. Everybody knows things are bad. It's a depression. Everybody's out of work or scared of losing their job. The dollar buys a nickel's worth. Banks are going bust. Shopkeepers keep a gun under the counter. Punks are running wild in the street, and there's nobody anywhere who seems to know what to do, and there's no end to it. We know the air is unfit to breathe and our food is unfit to eat, and we sit watching our TVs while some local newscaster tells us that today we had 15 homicides and 63 violent crimes, as if that's the way it's supposed to be.

We know things are bad — worse than bad. They're crazy. It's like everything everywhere is going crazy, so we don't go out anymore. We sit in the house, and slowly the world we are living in is getting smaller, and all we say is: "Please, at least leave us alone in our living rooms. Let me have my toaster and my TV and my steel-belted radials, and I won't say anything. Just leave us alone."

Well, I'm not gonna leave you alone. I want you to get mad! I don't want you to protest. I don't want you to riot — I don't want you to write to your congressman, because I wouldn't know what to tell you to write. I don't know what to do about the depression and the inflation and the Russians and the crime in the street. All I know is that first you've got to get mad. You've got to say: "I'm a human being, god-dammit! My life has value!"

So, I want you to get up now. I want all of you to get up out of your chairs. I want you to get up right now and go to the window. Open it, and stick your head out, and yell: "I'm as mad as hell, and I'm not gonna take this anymore!"

I want you to get up right now. Sit up. Go to your windows. Open them and stick your head out and yell — "I'm as mad as hell and I'm not gonna take this anymore!" Things have got to change. But first, you've gotta get mad! You've got to say, "I'm as mad as hell, and I'm not gonna take this anymore!" Then we'll figure out what to do about the depression and the inflation and the oil crisis and the power play and Phil's hair. But first, get up out of your chairs, open the window, stick your head out, and yell, and say it:

"I'm as mad as hell, and I'm not gonna take this anymore!"

Nice. Nothing like some Rage Against the Machine to get you going in the morning.  WHOO!!!

    Go Sabres
