One of the things I seemed to notice last night......... there were several times Foligno and Anderson tried to bring the hits and heavy game...... to change the direction. And it didn't work....... It was good to see the boys stay the course and not be intimidated.
The hit by McCabe was awsome...........

Hiked a little in Letchworth yesterday......... We have been hiking on the East side of the park, and in about 15 miles over 2 trips, we have yet to run into another person. Yesterday, we hiked on the West side....... which has beautiful views, but way more people.

I've seen Billy Joel in Pittsburgh (Civic Arena), Cleveland (Richfield Coliseum), and with Elton John at Rich Stadium........ if it's me, I'm headed to the concert.

There's a winter roost in Rochester that numbers in the 10's of thousands of birds (20?30?)..... crows. They can be quite a messy problem depending on where they sleep. As global warming changes weather, it also changes migrating animal patterns, and these "northern" roosts are a result of that. Used to be that crows would migrate by the millions to southern states (Oklahoma, Arkansas, etc.) to winter, but now they have learned that urban environments up north are a few degrees warmer than sleeping out in the sticks, and they don't need to migrate that far south to be warm enough to survive. Auburn, Troy, Rochester, and even Buffalo, have winter crow roosts.........

I sympathize with 10 and wish him good luck with the outcome of whatever was important enough to pull him away from $12 million..... all indications from past team-mates indicate that he was a good man on and off the ice, and I have to believe that in his mind it was the right thing to do, and so it was.

anybody know....???? if Berglund grieves, are the Sabres free to spend his cap money, or do they have to wait until the process completes? That would suck.

It's all hearsay and speculation by alot of folks,............... and if the Blues had any indication of this "situation" while 10 was part of their organization it's almost like fraud. At this point I'd say their portion of the trade was misrepresented...... ya, misrepresented, and the Sabres should be compensated.
