  1. What we want to see happen:

    1) Make serious changes to the bottom six.

    2) Move out a few defensemen and upgrade at least one of the top 4.

    3) Add a solid "#2 center" with upside

    4) Move Krebs for value

    What will happen:

    1) Rochester kids call up

    2) Worthless lackluster depth additions that have no cohesiveness with the team, and or have fallen off a cliff.

Kevyn Adams is a pathetic overeager mouthpiece and puppet for the Pegula's.  I'm sure he wants to do well in a perfect world, but he's too busy sucking off the taint of Terry.  It's a farse.

Can you imagine if they’d have hired Rod Brindamour and we had to look at his stupid Carolina cup raising face on a day to day basis? No thanks. Hard pass. Adams is enough.

    Id rather reign in hell

    Funnest post in a while!

Seriously. This is all I need to know. If it happened and it didn’t work out then sure Lindy does just fine. I just don’t believe that happened.

With Adams in charge he went the lazy way out and did zero research. This screams calling on the last coach with any sustained success who can put the fans to drowsy recollection of the late 90s early 2000s runs.

I'd tend to hope that guy should have a longer resume than Eric Comrie's one 19-game season as an NHL backup. A Casey DeSmith/Jake Allen/Kevin Lankinen level guy maybe?

But I actually think a guy like the Comrie of 2 years ago is the type of signing we're going to end up with: Adin Hill, Laurent Broissoit, Alex Lyon, Charlie Lindgren...

Not necessarily those guys right now, but a guy in a similar situation to where they were a few years ago: 25-30, tasted the NHL, never quite cracked it.

Brossoit of that group listed. Hill is locked up for two years.  I'd be fine with Brossoit, right age/starting experience/cup experience.

I'll believe it when I see it. 👀  We've been weaved this fairytale before.

  6. I do think the main core is good enough to make it to the playoffs.  However they need to break up some of the same and add different elements.  See Brady Tkachuk, William Carrier, etc for some more grit.

They needed to mix it up a bit regardless if the Middlestadt for Byram deal was the right one.  There definitely needs to be tweaking.  That being said we are always reacting to a situation instead of getting ahead of it.  Injuries and off years happen to every team, so they need to bring in new veteran leadership.  Also a lot more fight!

What's strange around here is everyone up in arms over Jeff Skinner and his 24g, 21a in 64game season to date but very little around here about Peyton Krebs who in 70 games has 4g, 11a which is 5g and 3a less than 18yr old Zach Benson. Krebs either hits next year or they need to think about moving on from him. Noah Östlund is coming and I'd bet money I can get him to give me 15pts a year so why pay Krebs?

Krebs doesn't look to be a part, I'd move him in a deal for an upgrade on the right side of defense.  Mattias, Krebs and 1st for Rasmus Andersson?

Guessing you've never watched Iginla play.

    Also, size doesn't equal toughness.

Tij, plays an intense brand of hockey, and he's a great pick anywhere outside the top 5-6.  But, it also depends on who falls and or is available.

Zamula is 6'3" and just coming into his own. Sanheim is 27 but locked up long term and he is solid. Maybe that's not "young" but he's in his prime. York has also become a top defender. Bonk is still developing. The others you already mentioned are all looking promising. How many do you want, they only need 6 starters.

Who do you mean by Buffalo's 2nd and 3rd rounders? RJ is the only guy I see pushing for an NHL spot.

With the addition of Byram you can argue the Buffalo defense is better. It's certainly more talented, but I'm not sure it's better as a unit defending.

With Byram in the team, once Samuelsson gets healthy, I'd look to move on from him.
