  1. You started the period topic equating people complaining to women having menstrual cycles. Grumpy old man just said PMS should be banned. I'm sure women would agree with that. Yours was sexist, his wasn't - nothing to do with post count. Then you said people that disagree with you should "suck your f'ing D". Please, see a therapist about your problems with women.

Not to mention my comment was in the spirit of *your* thread

For clarity - you're a sexist Neanderthal, not the sexiest one.

Woman being bit-chy while on their period is no secret, and it's not sexest to say so. I grew up with 5 sisters so next time you want to analyze my life over a computer do so with my d in your mouth. Is that sexest? Now I'm not coming back, no matter what asspirate or anyone else says.

you, you, you, you, your cool... I'm out... Is anybody with me??

  2. PMS should be banned.

The following post is a joke(have to clarify on here because most probably won't get it)

I think if they could ban it they would, I haven't met one woman who enjoyed it. Love how nobody calls you a sexiest neanderthal. Oh wait, you have enough posts to say whatever the you want my bad

  3. One of my first posts on this forum, someone told me to look up thread. Most of what I was saying had already been posted. Sometimes people want to post something without reading the entire thread! Why is that? Lots of the time half of the threads have tons of posts that are virtually meaningless. Whether it be people taking a chance to call someone else down or just straight bitching about something that has 0 to do with the topic. I don't want to have to read through a bunch of crap to find a few good posts.

As far as the people getting upset that I started this thread, suck my f'ing D. Seriously, I put up with all of your so I have zfg on any of your opinions.

How often do you get any new posters? Ever wonder why? Well I'm sure none of you care but this is my last post here, as well as my last time coming on this site. If in the future you want more people to join, and have meaningful discussions then heed my advice... Or better yet, go cry about us being in last and post a bunch of bs because your sad or mad or whatever else.

Have a nice day guys, I'll miss reading some of your posts, as for the rest of you... Enjoy the season

  4. I don't always get around to coming on here everyday. When I do I like to check threads out and read what everyone has to say, we'll it's quite sickening listening to some of you bicker back and forth, especially when it has little to nothing to do with what the thread is about. Especially when it's 17 pages worth. Especially, especially, especially(zfg) I end up having to skip pages and miss some great comments because of it. So please, to every poster out there: next time you have a problem with someone, and you want to batch and complain, come to it in this thread and don't waste my time. Maybe more people will join and we can have some genuine hockey discussions!?!? Sound good? Either that or grab a tampon and some midol and tell someone who gives a .

  5. Every single player on the Sabres roster over the past two years has dogged it at some point. Yes, even Zemgus. It happens. Yet Ehrhoff gets vilified for it.

At some point being the key words, not at every point. He walked out when things got tough. He signed a 1 year deal in the off-season and is doing nothing for Pittsburgh, I would be surprised if anyone signed him to a contract over 3mill this off-season. Has anyone who wants to sign him again seen him play in pitty?

  6. I think teams with back to back DFL finishes (hopefully) shouldn't really be worried about that...

In an offer sheet, the first would have to be our own, which I am not willing to give up this year or next.

Yes, it would be our 2016 first and 2016 3rd, Edmonton might just let him go because of that, and ideally we would finish as a bubble team so the pick wouldn't be great. Yakupov was a 1st overall pick.

After Markstrom cleared waivers he went crazy in the he AHL. Also, I don't see Montreal's surplus in net.

I think gmtm knew what Markstrom was all about before his little stint.

Montreal has Price, Tokarski, and Fucale. In my mind those 3 all of high potential of being NHL starters. Surplus might have been the wrong word, but there is a high end goalie there with the possibility of getting moved.

What but. eanie! All those sweet nothings he whispered into my ear... all those sweet nights... for naught.  :(

Ask Pittsburgh how happy they are with all those whispers, what a ###### bum. Murray knew what he was doing spending all that money on a buyout.

  7. Seriously, better not ever see Ehrhoff in a Sabres Jersey, do you guys forget he bailed on us big time? I say make a play at yakupov, our other first and a second or something of that nature. His game has improved big time this year, would be a nice young addition. Open to the possibility of signing him to an offer sheet if Edmonton wouldn't want to trade him. Not sure what we could do without giving up a 1st(4.5M??)

Jagr would be awesome, but I'm guessing he would only take a 1 year deal, and want to go to a contender at the deadline.

As far as defense goes, definitely interested in Green. I'd bet my top dollar Martin signs with Minnesota if he doesn't resign with the pens.

EDIT: 3.3-5M would be a 1st and third for an offer sheet. I would be open to doing that.

Markstrom cleared waivers early in the year I believe, to me of we wanted to acquire him, that was the time to do it. I think Murray has some kind of plan on that front, Montreal seems to have a surplus and we have a great relationship with them.

  8. Interesting.  I'll have to watch some Oilers game before the year and get a better eye on RNH.

Injury prone would be my only real knock on him, although one could argue he was in the NHL when he wasn't matured and that could have something to do with that.

Maybe one day we will be doing this to teams again!

  9. I'm not sold on RNH being enough of an upgrade over Ennis.  I'd prefer to target a two way top-6 player like O'Reilly who would take pressure off Reinhart and McEichel.

IMO RNH is twice the player Ennis and Ror are. I would trade both of those guys in a heartbeat for RNH, I'd probably throw in a 2nd and 3rd.

  10. Not just "a new coach," but the right coach. Nolan is signed through next season, right? If the Sabres can't land a Babcock or other A-list coach, it better to stick with Nolan than to change for the sake of change (if they can't line up a clear, A-list upgrade).

Yes, Nolan is signed till the end of the 16-17 season.

I can't wait for Draft day. Not just to see McDavid putting on a Buffalo Jersey, but there will be a lot of trades too. Who knows what Murrays plans are. We might acquire a solid goalie and a solid RW and be a bubble team. Yes break ups are tough, but the future is bright and we have plenty to look forward to! Will we suck next year? Most likely, but hey, when you hit rock bottom, there is only one place to go. I'm looking forward to being able to see this core grow into an NHL powerhouse. Rebuilding will always have its flaws, and it will always be a risk, but you have to risk it to get the biscuit.

  11. I hate to question a cute story, but why is the Columbus GM trying to take credit when he hadn't seen the letter before the deal was done?

The letter was actually back written and sent back in January. It is my belief he did receive it.

This is the thing right here; the cards DID fall the Murray's way.  He got rid of players getting in the way of the tank, and cleared out roster spots and cap room to go on a spending spree this summer.  He gets to shop for players not only with big money, but he gets to tell them they're going to play on a roster that features Reinhart, Kane, Ennis, Moulson, and...McEichel.  He gets to tell them that their defense is as loaded as any in the west.

To me, that's a pretty big deal.

I agree and it's kind of head scratching to me why there are so many that say we wont make the playoffs next year. I think I will be pretty disappointed if we aren't climbing fast starting right off the bat next season. I hear GMTM saying the Kane deal speeds everything up. My money says he makes the run for ROR or someone else.

Yikes, we have some great defensive prospects, but we're a far cry from being as loaded as some teams in the West. I would not count on this team making the playoffs either. The future is very bright, but you guys are begging to be disappointed next year.

  12. I'm complaining Murray held out too long while other potential landing spots for Stewart made other deals. At deadline he had to settle for a pick three drafts from now. You are obviously satisfied with this mediocrity.

I see where you are coming from. Would have been a good strategy if Boston didn't get connoly, and nobody seen that coming. He was waiting for the river card, he had tons of outs, unfortunately none hit this time, but it was worth the risk, and we still got market value.

  13. Our best asset, Stewart, gets us a 2nd three drafts from now. That's bogus. TM misplayed his hand badly.

Our best asset, is Stewart. We got a 2nd. Who cares when it is. It's a 2nd. Would you rather keep him and let him walk? What are you bitching about?

We got rid of these players, that was the main thing. Murray may have done a little better, if you think he did terrible you don't know anything about player evaluation or market value.
