The unexpected part seems like part of the problem. He got injured taking a face off. Will they put him back at the dot for draws? He’s missed a lot of time in his career going back to college. I don’t fault any player for getting injured in any sport. It seems like some of them are physically not suited for the grind - through no fault of their own. Fingers crossed for him and Sabres fans that he can stay healthy.

His play since signing the contract stunk. Doing nothing last year while Thompson was laying on the ice was inexcusable. He has been a big part of the problem. He’s been kicking ass since game 1 this season. Give me MOAR MUEL!

If that were the case he would have picked up his play two years ago.

He stunk for quite a while. The only game I have attended this year was the opener. He was the only bright spot of the night and has kept it going since. Awesome to see.

Agree. About the only thing I took as a positive from Thursday was Samuelsson. I did not remotely expect that.
