I’d keep Mitts on the second line. I’d rather he work with Johansson and Sam than Vesey and Olofsson in terms of developing. Olofsson has little experience and Vesey hasn’t lived up to expectations yet. ERod’s steady nature might also help Olofsson’s development.

Hope: Make the playoffs, simple but effective coaching system, quick adjustment by everyone to that system. Fear: Lack of middle six contribution, lack of consistent effort (60 minutes times 82). Expectation: 30 goals for Jack, 25+ for Sam and Jeff, coaching finds the right spot for Mitts, puck movement and creativity equals scoring chances so use it, everyone in the franchise is truly done with mediocrity and will hold each other accountable.

Presidents get hit from all directions. Now one hits back and people get upset about it. I’ll go out on a limb and say he probably told the truth about one or two things even if by accident. I’d be lying if I said I believed Mexico would pay for a wall. I put about as much belief in that as I do the world ending in 12 years or the Benghazi attack resulting from disgruntled worshipers. I am kicking myself for falling for the Bush Iraq narrative.

I like this and think it’s what we need the most. It seemed like most teams knew we were either going low to Sam or Jack trying to force a play else where. This would help prevent the opposition from collapsing their defensive box to the net or left wall. Depending on which side the play is on Sam and Jeff could rotate as well.

In a suitcase headed for someone willing to give a 2C. I think JBott is figuring things out as far as wheeling and dealing. I think he will point us in the right general direction but someone else will come in to put the final pieces in. I may be wrong. As far as culture goes I would be happy with the Sabres being known as a speed team with creativity. Sorry Pommers.

Just saw Hobbs and Shaw. If you are into the F&F series it’s worth watching. Suspend belief for some parts.There are three end credit scenes BTW.

It was after midnight. Two full moons.

This probably isn’t awesome and is kind of bad but has a hint of funny. Couple days ago my mother is in the garage late at night. Door open and lights on. Everyone is sleeping and we hear her start shouting. I get dressed and go outside to see a naked guy covering his junk with a hat. Turns out the kid partied so hard at a grad party he passed out. His friends thought it would be funny to strip him and leave him a few streets over.

Helping my dad out with landscaping and odd jobs while in town. Dare I say this is the best time to do those projects the regular season doesn’t let us get to?
