Are you a season ticket holder? The conference went off the rails with the argumentative banter from Jerry... followed by Harrington's outburst. Extremely unprofessional. TP's availability is irrelevant and he does not owe anyone anything. Be grateful for our ownership and his passion for the Sabres & community. He doesnt deserve to have his 'feet held to the fire'. The people responsible for the team were at the press conference.

It helps playing on the 3rd line w/ Roy and Vanek. That team had strength down the middle .....

Harrington & Sullivan are antagonists - thats all. Why do you think the comments are no longer true? Lack of success doesnt mean goals have changed. The local media need the Sabres more than Sabres need media.

I wouldnt overlook Hackett. Darcy has had success with 'throw in' players. Pardy & Sulzer to name a few recent examples.

Exactly, but you need to take the risk. I'm not convinced Regier is capable - always takes the safe choice.

Darcy's biggest flaw is his inability to understand WHEN to go for it. The '....we dont want to disrupt the team chemistry....' approach is the wrong strategy when you have a cup contending team. He seems to put more emphasis on getting the best value for his assets at the trade deadline regardless of the team's potential. Its OK to lose a trade long-term if it means adding the right player to make a run at the cup.

I suspect Miller's interest grew in being traded to TB after Jon Cooper was hired. They're both Michigan State alumni. Someone very close to Jon went to college at the same time as Miller Time.

Vanek's value is more than points. He is a leader and great example for the young talent. No one holds themselves more accountable than Vanek. You dont trade him for a center w/ 1 good year and a crapshoot draft pick.
