Did anyone ask if they would be able to talk to Terry personally? Maybe we can set something up now? Did they push further and say when was Terry available? He was available at a ribbon-cutting ceremony I heard, but was not answering hockey questions. Would we maybe be able to get Terry to speak soon?

So on top of the tickets I already have, I was just offered two at center ice about 10 rows up. I've sat in these before and they are the best in the house. Unfortunately I can't use them since neither my wife or I have
time today to go pick them up.

I haven't paid for a ticket to a canes game since the spring of 2006.
That's amazing! I'm surprised it's just not open admission. Can't wait to see all the Sabres fans. Bummed I don't get to watch Eichel in action. Kind of the reason I'm driving 3 hours for the game.

i will be there. tickets were........$17 or FREE with a student ID. that's where they're at now.

yeah you can love mcdavid all you want, but in the end i'll take a durable Eichel or another oft-injured Crosby type.

granted i could only watch the recap on dtmts.com, it seemed like Lehner was constantly out of position or on his back or way out of the crease. was this the case most of the game?

More weird but encouraging stats from the Sabres:
Mark Pysyk (+46) has the 5th-best 5-on-5 scoring chance +/- in the NHL. Zemgus Girgensons (+42) ranks 7th and Jake McCabe (+39) ranks 13th.
I guess you sort of answered my question on this one. Where are you getting scoring chance game by game stats?

Quick question: I may be going crazy but I can't find scoring chances anywhere from last night's game. Is this still a stat? I checked espn, nhl.com and hockey reference (box scores aren't available yet, but prior games don't have it).

Toronto doesn't have crap for the rebuild, and they don't have a harbor center.
I don't believe the report is even true and its just media BS or someone leaking a made up story for whatever reason
no they don't have a harbor center, just a world-class city.

In that case, I feel indifferent to the whole thing. Our team was fit to be pillaged with UFAs and guys that aren't going to be a good fit for GMTM's vision; so him getting some OK picks and prospects for guys that were basically leaving anyway probably wasn't all that difficult of a feat.
