So my wife just texted me a meme from the NFL

"3 Days without sports. Found a lady sitting on my couch.   Apparently she's my wife. Seems nice.

Also the toilet paper thing I totally understand... if you are going to be confined to your house for 14 days plus you really dont want to run out.

I laughed at the first part.  I stopped at the second part.

Man, that's a great line up.  Prince was so under rated as a guitarist.   And Billy Sheehan was, well he's F'n Billy Sheehan.  These are all tough choices.

And Burton Cummings as a keyboard and lead vocal was way up there.

And Jeff Lynn as a producer is in the conversation.

How is Paul Rodgers or Roy Orbison not mentioned.

Truth is, if he wanted to, Prince could have been the best on all instruments.

But, since I decided to post, I will modify the question with those I’ve seen.

    Justin Hayward

    Eric Clapton

    Joe Strummer

    Billy Sheehan

    Carl Palmer

    Producer Todd Rundgren

  4. Since we have no hockey to talk about, I thought I'd start an all star classic rock band thread.  Most of this is from the 60's and 70's so I apologize to our younger members.  Here is my all star list.

Keyboards, Vocals - Steve Walsh - Kansas
Lead Guitar, Vocals  - Terry Kath - Chicago
Rhythm Guitar - Jimmy Page - Led Zeppelin
Bass Guitar, Vocals - Paul McCartney - The Beatles
Drums - Keith Moon - The Who

Producer - Tom Scholz - Boston

Picking this list was harder than trying to fix the Sabres.  Hack away!

It’s real easy see. Its like the wise man said(may he rest in eternal peace):

“you put your left leg down, your right leg up, tilt your head and finish the cup...“

Good one.  How's this.  "Through my life, I've spent 90% of my money on whiskey and women.  The other 10% I just wasted."

It's been such a long time since I listened to this.  I get more than a feeling when I play it and  it gives me peace of mind.  There's just something about it.  They were a great rock n' roll band.  All their songs were smokin'.

Don’t let that old turntable fool you. It’s an AR XB circa 1974.  Made in Lexington, Ma.

I customized it.  It has a wood base made of African Padauk. The top plate has a high gloss paint job from a body shop.  The bottom of the plate is treated with vibration deadening material. The tone arm has been rewired with high end wire, the interconnects upgraded, and the arm pivots were replaced with polished Saphire jewel cups.  It has a custom cherry wood headshell and a high end moving iron cartridge.   Inside, the spring suspension was upgraded to help eliminate effects from external vibration, as was the motor and pulley.  It a belt drive and the only controls are the on/off switch and the arm cueing lever which are original.

When not impersonating a former head coach and GM, I am a vintage audio equipment restoration freak and music lover.

My god.  This  board has every talent imaginable.  It's very apparent that that is a passion of yours.  You must see some amazing sh1t that posters of our age can really appreciate.  Rock on!.
