I will make my trip to Buffalo in october... I expect a loud arena... I am from germany I am used to loud arena's ... if someone is just sitting next to me... Damn I am gonna hit him :D

As a back-up initially yes. He's going to have to earn the starting job. Lol. I can see a Neuvirth, Niemi, type and then O'Connor battling with Makarov for AHL starts, and Johnson as the back-up unless moved in the offseason. O'Connor won't be given a stating job anywhere.
obviously yes... however I think that would be perfect for him and buffalo...

Over the past few years I have always said if I have to pick one player to build a team around I would pick Toews instead of Crosby... So by that thinking I should also pick Eichel over McDavid... I think everyone was a little bit sad at first but let him play a few games here and damn we are going to love this kid just as much as we would have loved McDavid.

The quantity seems right, the quality is off. At the very least 2 of Zemgus/Ennis/Risto must be part of the deal.
Point's moot anyways. Neither the 1st or 2nd pick is going to be traded in the 2015 draft.
Not so fast on the last point.
Let's say Boston wins the Lottery they might trade the 1st for our 2nd if the Sabres add a little extra.
Boston would get the hometown boy Eichel and maybe another great player and/or pick which makes up for the difference between Eichel and McDavid.
It's not that impossible. However one team ending up with 1st and 2nd this year is not likely whatsoever...

Worst part is that "Eichel" is the german word for glans ... so yeah it would be pretty weired for me to wear a Eichel jersey in germany...

I really want Buffalo so sign Justin Williams on the 1st of July. Won Cups ... Clutch in the playoffs, great guy. Man he would be another great guy to look up to for the young players...

There has not been a better pure goal scorer in the last decade or more. When it comes to goal scoring I even put him ahead of Stamkos or other great goal scorers... So Ovechkin all the way for me,.

It just hit me... the perfect next 2 weeks for the Sabres Fans would be:
Lose on Monday and clinch McEichel.
Win on Saturday when the arena will be supporting the Sabres for 60 minutes as loud as it has not been in the past 2 years while eliminating the Pens from the playoff race.
Win the NHL 2015 Draft Lottery...

March is around the corner and this team I decided to use a former player of the Sabres. Steve Montador is on the WP this month. Always loved him as a player when he was here and admired his work ethic. Good way to keep him in our memories.

dont read much into it. he also said laich is a cheap player
was a bad way of using the word "cheap" ... when he described it, it came out he meant stuff like getting under the skin of an opponent which players around the league obviously hate
