With the Ducks loss (third in a row) last night to the Wings, a win tonight will put us back into first place overall in the league.

Solid effort against a hot team on the road. I'm feeling better. We took 3 out of 5 on the road and have back to back victories heading back to home ice. Things are looking good. Now if we can get that peasky PP on track...

We need to find our power play and soon. The third PP was better but the last 5 games or so we look lost on the PP.

I would like to Drury teamed up with Gaustad. I think that would get Drury out of his goal scoring funk.

Looks like it is a board dominated by chicks. It's great that Buffalo fans were there (RBC Center) in numbers and wreaking havoc.

Has Thomas Vanek been abducted by aliens?

He has become my favorite Sabre this year. I like his gritty style of play and seems to make things happen when he is on the ice.

I feel great about our chances in this series. I like Buffalo in 5. I just think we are head and shoulders above Philly. The last few games we really had nothing to play for, we were locked into the 4th playoff spot, yet we played with an intensity and hunger of a team that is not happy just to make the playoffs. Both our golies are in top form, we are scoring in bunches and we have tightened the "D".
