It was definitley off the last two games. I got an email stating to use my bar code on the onebuffalo app to get discounts, but it didn't work at the stands.

Best of luck to you.
You as well. I appreciate it.

Actually, my original comment was about the arena.
Actually, I was replying to this comment you made. I am pretty sure it was apparent.
There's a thread somewhere wherein someone implied that the Sabres hired Housley only because his wife (a Minnesota state senator running for US Senate) has political beliefs which appeal to the Pegulas.
Didn't realize you all got as irratiable as the TBD crew. My bad. The point being seeing they support different political parties not sure there is much appeal other than respect for what Phil actually brings to the table, not his political affiliations.

The arena’s husband is a different political party?
It was a humorous post. I doubt the arena is 1. Married and 2. Registered with a political party.
The Op's comment was about Housleys wife, not the arena. And yes, I get the jest.
-
Two different political parties, I highly doubt it.

Perhaps, may do him some good.Don't want to damage the goods just before the trade

He was sitting around looking pretty useless today. It might have been, but it wasn't a lingering injury that gave him the primary assist on Belarus' only goal against the Swedes. It was a total brainfart & he has far too many of those.
Maybe a change of scenery is what he needs.

I am renewing. Thats what the family, and I enjoy doing. It is a much more family friendly environment than going to the Ralph. Besides, when the team starts playing well, it will make up for the lean years as a season ticket holder.

By getting better performance out of the top 6 to ensure he isn't needed there.
It shouldn't be too difficult.
Mittelstadt Eichel Okposo
CJ Smith O'Reilly Reinhart
JAG Girgensons Pominville
Middle Stud is a natural Center, there is no way you move him to wing, or with Jack. With ROR, Jack, and Casey down the middle that is a formidable threesome.

sounds like the trade winds are blowing.
-
Love it, who cares? Did he hurt someones feelings with his cockiness? Maybe he didn't get enough participation trophies growing up.
-
I'm beginning to think maybe not.
The contracts given to Moulson and, to a lesser degree, Okposo are not good.
His abilities as a talent evaluator, I'm sure, are good to very good. But I don't think he really knew how to manage assets and cap space.
I am pretty sure the Moulson deal (1st time) was to get to the cap floor. Okposo had a pretty good year last season before the injury. I honestly don't think he is 100% yet.

That is a pretty freaking weird answer
That was hysterical, I think they say that knowing kids can't spend $11 for a beer. If you bring your friends that is a larger dollar spent at the concession stands.

She's taller than me. Some people find this off-putting. We don't care. That's why it's in quotes.
I have a younger wife, we don't care either. Good for you.
As cautious as I am about this guy, it still shocks me that we were able to pick him up for a 3rd.
He had some off ice issues that included an assault, and some pretty good party habits.
29 points in 101 games in the NHL. Certainly not earth shattering.

I was watching, or reading an analysis of Jacks shot. They said it was the length of his stick, and the fact that he doesn't need to reposition his hands for a shot. That coupled with his skill is what makes his shot so effortless.I don't think it is the speed of the shot but the speed of the release. It is off the end of his stick before the goalie has time to process it.

He is brutal. I think he read my tweet to him about calling hockey goals as if it were a Soccer match. Can't stand it.Yea it's bad he'll pause then say the players name and what they were doing and then that they scored. There's 10 seconds of wtf happened.
-
Those guys barely qualify as vets haha.
I could see Matt and Josh sitting a lot this year, probably not getting sent down though.
Unfortunately we are stuck with Moulson due to contract, which is a shame considering there are some young guys that could step in and take his place. Georges is a good #7 that we are paying a lot of money to ride the pine.

Kane isn't a 30 goal scorer because we can predict he will miss 10-15games in any given year. He is a volume scorer. That means he has to shoot 300times a year to score 30goals roughly. His speed is great and he is physical. I don't think he is great with Eichel but maybe I am wrong. My issue boils down to this, is Evander Kane worth 7mil X6 years and I can't get to that threshold. I put him at 6mil X4 years.
I agree with those numbers on a 4 year contract. Last thing we want is to get sucked in to a long term contract that will take him into his declining years. Then we end up paying him for 10 years on a buyout like Ehrhoff, or Coney Hotdog.
Forgot about that post. Out of context, not my best post
I figured as much. Was just giving you a hard time. We all have them.

Anyone who thinks Kane should be extended is clearly a moron and shouldn't be allowed to ever post on here
Count me in the extend Kane group. Maybe I will get banned? Is this the TBD board?

As far as I know, it won't be on TV. WGR550 is the place to catch it, or go to the arena and let us know what you see.
BUFFALO HOCKEY IS BACK BABY
No TV. I am excited, Hockey starting helps me let go of my Bills frustration every year. I will be in my seats per usual, drinking a beer and smiling at my wife, and daughter. Anyone can say what they want about the lack of energy in the building at times, but it is a much more family friendly experience than the Ralph.
Go Sabres!!!!
-
I see him on the third line with Larry playing that solid two way winter that can kill penalties, and chip in 10-15 goals a year.
-
Dunleavy's canadian accent bothers me too. Accents never bothered me before, but as I get older it's become more and more difficult to listen to. Spent the first 25 years of my life in Buffalo and I had a thick WNY accent, but it's gone now (at least to my ears it is). Anyway, I think it might have to do with all the western european/australian news anchors and talk show hosts on american television now a days... i mean, go work in your own country right? The Sabres should have american tv and radio crew... it's complaint thursday right?
Dunleavy calling goals like it is a Soccer match drives me insane. He needs to work on his inflection as well. I am not a fan.
-
I really couldn't care less. He would have been a nice depth piece but from his perspective a better opportunity does exists in NJ.

Thus needed a new thread?
Apologies ink. I should have consulted you before I posted the thread.

I forgot about the Stallions, went to quite a few of those games.
I loved walking into the Aud and checking the leader boards as soon as you came through the gates. I will never forget walking past the line of smokers as you walked up the ramps.
