Any word on what's wrong Chris Drury? Hopefully nothing serious. We can afford to lose him especially while Briere is out.

We've seen a Sabres even strength goal. How about Numminen gets his first. He can't score to save his life. Or even Paille get his first NHL goal.

It's funny how whenever there is an article about a playing playing poorly or not putting up points, they have a great next game. Today the Buffalo News talked about how Hecht it's putting up points. So far tonight 1G, 1A.

The Sabres have rebounded well after losses recently. Hopefully they can do the Sabres tonight against a team they beat twice already. Dmitri Kalinin might be back in the line-up tonight. If not, Saturday is more likely. I wonder if Ruff sits a defenseman or goes with seven of them like before. Briere is having surgery today in Montreal. I'm not sure why this didn't happen earlier in the week. I also don't like that the doctor is Montreal's team physician but he's apparently the best in the biz. Go Sabres!

TSN and the CP reported that various trades would go down soon with Biron moving to Vancouver being a huge possiblity. TSN and CP beat the Ottawa or Toronto Sun rumors.

I totally agree. Ryan is the #1 and he should have played yesterday. Marty has a positioning problem. Most of the goals scored on him are because he's not positioned correctly. That being said, with all the trade rumors in credible hockey sources yesterday, my guess is they were shopping Biron. They should have traded him as soon as Miller was 100%. Marty is a good goalie but that's it, don't expect to him to be consistently great.

I hate Toronto, I hate Devorski, I hate losing and I hate shootouts. So I'm one pissed off person today. Still not sure why Biron was playing last night. My only guess was they were showcasing him. Miller should have played. Thrashers have been a decent team of late, we can't afford to lose again.

Kotalik looked off all game long. I don't know why Lindy picked him for the shootout.

Reading the Leafs home town papers today, it seems they all think Buffalo will win tonight. I hope our boys don't read this crap and get too cocky. Should be a great game and if Buffalo plays like they have, they will surely win again tonight. Blow Leafs Blow! Eric Lindros (wrist ligament), Alexander Steen (thumb), Nik Antropov (knee), Jason Allison (finger) and Carlo Colaiacovo (wrist) are not expected to play tonight for the Leafs.

Derek Roy blocked a shot in the ankle with his skate turned out. That was dangerous. He was helped to the lockerrom. He probably had his ankle busted. Hopefully it's just stung but that was bad. We can't keep losing players, especially key players like Roy has been. Tie Game 1-1

Canes just scored after a Sabres penalty just expired. Bad penalty calls are always hard to kill off.

Nice goal by Alex. He's got a great slap shot and now a great wrist shot. That penalty on Tallinder was horrible. Apparently in the new NHL you can't ride your check out EVEN if they have the puck.

Well there's the Sabres team we've known. Playing down to their competition. You had to figure this was going to happen. They need to win the next two so we can feel better.
