I think it's funny how clear it is that when Watkins is in the game, the offense is "night/day difference" better. He makes the offense go. Yet he isn't worth two first rounders.
Who knows if beckham would be the same, Cruz killed it in that offense before him. But I do know Watkins makes that difference.
And this injury stuff is way too early. He started 16 games last year and had a great rookie season.
Just realize all fan bases have a player they irrationally blame, if you are hating on Watkins, you are in the group.

Of course I can, but I'll just be blunt here: I have no desire to make the necessary cap inflation adjustments (and depending on the player, adjusting for the elimination of back diving contracts) to do so. 100% laziness on my part. I like the Toews comparison because I think they play a similar game, but my reluctance to bring other players into it really is primarily laziness.
My only point is you always compare ROR to literally the two people with the highest capt hit. Only a year before those contracts someone like giroux signed an 8 mil extension or something along those lines

Well the Avs management didn't think he was worth committing to as part of their core. So at least I am not alone.
They tried to sign him to a large deal for years and already have a large forward core.

All I can say is that I'm thankful that I had a day at camp with my daughter for Y guides yesterday. Mostly because I was able to spend an awesome day canoeing, fishing, archery, bb guns etc. with my 7 year old, but also because packing up and getting ready for it made me forget that I wanted to bet on the Bills and therefore saved me a bunch of $. Lastly, if I didn' have the camp day I would have likely wasted another beautiful Sunday watching this hapless franchise remain irrelevant on the NFL landscape.
I rarely miss games, but when I do, I have almost never regretted it

We should at least be clawing up towards .500; instead of taking up permanent, contented residence at the bottom of the Atlantic.
Sabres are now 1 point behind Toronto at the bottom of the Atlantic... and are tied for 2nd worst in the Eastern Conference. Those are still tank-like numbers.
You realize we are one win off where you want them (but instead we are at tank-like numbers). Think about how ridiculous of a statement that is.

Its 5 games now...still the same problem. And we are in an all too familiar place in our division...the basement.
I think these posts get to me the most (no offense). Do you not see all the new players, the rookies, and new coaches on a team that finished dead last the past two years? Do you really think 5 games is going to be enough to expect to see the results. This season should have had an obvious "growing pains ahead" sign posted on it. Not sure how anyone missed that.

What f'n head coach hires an assistant coach that coaches his player to call for a fair catch at the 4 f##king yard line?!?!
Is that coaching or the return men just being idiots?
Also TrueBlue's point (i think) is our defense is playing far below the level of its player's history and coach's history. A regression up to the both of those means wouldn't be surprising.

This team actually gave me a headache today. I have a ridiculous amount of work to do today, and I put it off to watch the game. After watching the entire game, I got a pounding headache and had to go sleep it off. team will be the end of me

Seriously though, this sucks.
But lets hope for:
1) Beat the Jags
2) Get healthy over the bye week
3) Hope Taylor and the healthy offense start to click more
4) Hope the defense turns it on.
None of those are absolutely crazy hopes at least (i think)
