I don't even understand how people say Vanek had a soft style of play. Ever watch the abuse he took in front of the goal? That's not soft.
The perceived floating, lack of checks, style of defense, could all be seen as soft. I agree it's not, my point was it can be seen as laziness or lack of hustle or lack of grit, etc. I think the same thing of Stafford btw.

Well I never did this for the last 2 years and stayed till the bitter end for every game I watched during the tank but for this one I'm out. My expectations are a little more than what I'm hearing and what I'm hearing sounds like shite. See y'all tomorrow. G'nite.

If Eichel ever gets a finisher to skate with, watch out. Every game this season he has had multiple times where he's set up a teammate for a prime chance only to have the guy whiff or not be able to anticipate on the same level. Frustrating to watch.
