Mark Jankowski Plays with Providence in NCAA
None of these guys are tearing up the NHL at this point. Grigorenko is where he should be dominating Juniors and ready to make leap to Sabres or Americans
-
Just a question, why take an excess forward when we need playmaking capable centers. I'm starting to see that Cody Hodgson is more likely suited as a RW. This team really doesn't have a true center at the moment. Unless Grigorenko turns it around.
Not sure what Grigorenko has to turn around:
23GP 15G 24A 39P in the regular season
5GP 1G 8A 9P in the playoffs.
Not to mention tourney all-star at the WJC this past January and the kid isn't even 20 yet. Not to say he is NHL ready but lets not start thinking he is a "bust" either.

looks like grigs can head to rochester, losing 5-2 late in 3rd 2 more assists for the big russian. never seen them play but seems as though the Remparts are a 1 line team Grigs has 1g 8a in 5 games
-
I don't see Murray trading our pick or the Islanders' pick if they decide not to defer. Personally, I'm hoping we draft #1, select Reinhart, the Islanders don't defer and we're able to draft Dal Colle at 4 or 5. Those 2 along with our top pick in 2015 should go a long way to us finally having a solid top 6 in a few years.
im completely with you

I ag
If they win the lottery, they keep the pick. There is no way they can give away the 1st overall pick.
Sorry absolutely agree, if they win the lottery they keep the pick. I was assuming they dont win and draft 4 or 5 they defer.
-
If Wang is selling the Islanders I would think that it about clinches the decision for them to give the Sabres their 1st round pick this year. I can't imagine selling the team and the new owners not having a 1st round pick in their first draft.
-
anyone know the exact date of the lottery?
