When has Derek Roy ever listened to anyone but himself? I remember Lindy having a tough time getting Derek Roy to buy into his "system"... I strongly believe Lucic was the spark that ignited the fire which divided the room... RR,CE,VL got to be saying WTF did I get myself into... With all do respect, Chimp is spot on with certain members, I moderate a non sports forum and we don't have these so called "bullies" because members teach and don't berate members for redundant threads... If there is such a problem we address immediately. Just an observation, maybe the mods have their reasons for doing what they do. I digress before I get "warned" :D

Ok... but the respectful, polite way, of telling the OP he was out line wasn't written, instead it was hateful, like most "veteran" posters do to those which don't follow their "forum etiquette" which in turn doesn't grow the site, which doesn't allow for new opinions, views, topics then board becomes stale...I for one enjoy a different take instead of reading the same junk over and over. All I'm saying is instead of attacking newbies like an @$$, exercise some thought and point them in the right direction.

I get it, I thought it had a slight comic relief value in it as well, I wasn't roflmao though, but "veteran" posters need to holster their guns before popping off at the n00bs, in order to make this board better than others. Yes the OP was crass in his/her it's all about my opinion, but educating him on methods of finding his discussion topic would have been the correct approach. But the OP was right in saying sometimes topics just get buried in threads because of the constant derails from "veteran" posters who have the same mindset of being "all mighty"

This is exactly why new comers and lurkers just don't post... Instead of taking offense to the OP and come up with your sarcastic response, you could have easily been a better person by educating the OP on searching or politely say "This has been discussed already" Time and time again the same posters continually harass, insult, derail topics, maybe just maybe the OP didn't want to weed through the E-peen contests so many of you engage in thread derails. Maybe Mommy and Daddy should have taught you manners. Back on topic, this was bound to happen regardless of the Lucic hit, this team has had a cancer since the CD/DB debacle... I'm just hopeful they don't find their pride like the bills do to rid themselves of a top3 pick.

It does somewhat, I don't think Smith (DRW) intended to hit him in the head, Smith (CB) seems as if he crouched down before contact was made (preparing for hit, he saw smith coming), If Smith (CB) is more upright Smith (DRW) would have been shoulder to shoulder, again I don't see intent (for the head) but there was definitely time for Smith (DRW) to think about what he was about to do. There should be a suspension, but one like boyes... 1-2 games. Agreed... Shanny's going to have his hands full... but better to do something than nothing at all like Colin seemed to practice a lot of. When will the players start to get it? I know there are mistakes but look at all the suspensions in preseason so far??? Edit: Looking at the Video again, watch what Smith (CB) does in the close up... He sees Smith lining him up, I wonder if Smith (CB) couldn't decide whether or not he was going to duck the check or deke therefore went into the deer in head lights mode and then Smith (DRW) ran him over via the head because of the indecision. Maybe I'm over analyzing it...
