Then I guess we should all be prepared to miss the playoffs again next year because our center lineup is not going to cut it. Since they won't be able to get a #1 center, the best they can do is unload a nice haul for a very good #2 center who is proven. Tage, #2 and then Cozens. That is the kind of mover they have to make if they ever want to fill that stadium again.

would be cool to get a LW to drop Greenway to the 3rd line BUT then you have an issue with what to do with Skinner. Yes, I understand his metrics are good 5v5 I just don't think you should have a one dimensional player on your top line, especially when you have the youngest team in league. Your vets need to set a standard
i would probably want them to switch Benson to 1st line and Greenway to 3rd
skinner Krebs greenway as your 3rd line isn't terrible I don't think
Two of those top 6 need to be bumped down to 3rd line and they need to add a couple solid FAs in the summer to take their place. Trade 1st rounders and prospects if you need to but this top 6 is not even close to cutting it for a Stanley Cup contender.

No chance they make the playoffs next year. If they could not jump the garbage teams ahead of them this year, how the heck are they supposed to do it next year when they will all be much better.

And now that I have dropped my Sabres seasons, it looks like the Bills will follow soon after. My family has been an original season ticket holder of the Bills since 1960 and with 4 tickets in my name now, I will have to pay $60,000 just for the PSL alone. They won't even give us any info until some idiot shows us around this stadium experience facility as they try and sales 101 me. Yeah, no thanks. With The Masters right around the corner, it's only fitting - Terry Pegula, ruining traditions like no other.

Losing is not an option tonight. We obviously did not stand a chance against Vancouver so that was the 1 loss we could afford on this road-trip. They put themselves into this position so now it is up to them to get out of it.

Last year, the Panther game with Levi ended the season. This year, it was the Detroit game last Saturday that ended their playoffs. I wonder who will drive the stake in the next year and will we be lucky enough to actually care in the month of March? Those are where my expectations are right now. I don't expect playoffs next year, I only hope to have some games that are watchable in March.

Buffalo does not have a #1 center so good luck finding one of those in the next few years. They are going to have to figure out how to add another #2 center and hope that have a couple #2s will be good enough to make some noise if they ever make the playoffs again.

If our terrible GM is still here next year, I hope he realizes how far away we are from competing for the Cup. Vancouver is EVERYTHING I have wanted our team to look like for the last 13 years. I honestly think they would still beat us if we were on the powerplay for the full game.
