Ok Jim Jones stay positive. That’s what wrong with Buffalonians when you don’t get to leave the camp. You get so negative with all the drama and constant horse *****. Get out of Jonestown and you will enjoy being a fan so much more and you won’t live it day in and day out.

Agree. He is not in the Sabres Future. Owen Powers and Mattias Samuelsson have the size and skating skills to be studs and push out the little guys like Bryson.

My proposed trade:
To Buffalo- Josh Bailey and Scott Mayfield. Sabres get another vet 2nd LW who can help develop young players for next couple of years. Mayfield would be a solid 2nd RD to play with Power.
To Islanders- Mattias Samuelsson and Anders Bjork. Although I don't want to lose Samuelsson the Sabres have depth on LD with Power, Johnson, and Bryson filling in the spots behind Dahlin.
Not sure if the Sabres could convince Varlamov to come to Sabres as a starter for one year. Could move him at deadline to a contender.
Did someone put some crack in your Wheaties? Mattias Samuelsson is going to be a stud in this league. Bryson is a short wanna be that we are biding time with.

That is the plan. They were at the Cap ceiling before John Eichel was ever in the picture. They had to either trade off $11M or oh hey let’s just put Stone on LTIR until the playoffs 😜. I hate that rule. All season long Cap then come playoffs no Cap!

Vegas will benefit come playoffs due to the a**inine rule that when playoffs start there is no salary cap. That’s just about when Mark Stone will be ready to come back from his sore back……shocker. Vegas is not built for long term. They,ve sold their sole to the devil to win now. They have traded all their picks away and have a serious Salary cap issue

Dahlin is alone at the top, for now.
Joki and Pysyk occupy the second rank as good, solid, reliably, un-flashy but very valuable defenders.
Bryson is just a notch below but (hopefully) getting better.
Miller is good. Not sure why he is so hated.
Hagg is serviceable, not a major liability and I would be happy to have him as a seventh defensemen
Butcher is not so good,.
I have no idea how good--or bad--Power and/or Johnson will be. Samuelson looked really good the brief time he was here, I'd probably rate him at Bryson level to start, but he obviously has an upside

KA deserves sometime to implement his plan and guarantee he gets at least two more seasons. Isn’t there a smidget of change in team culture going on before our eyes as we write?
