Between Linden and Benning it took them 3 or 4 years to decide if they were tanking , rebuilding/fast re-tooling , or a good team ( delusional ) and in the meantime they let a Sedin trade slip through their fingers and lost the haul they would have reaped had they traded them when they should have. Linden has been a bust beloved son or not.

I'm like you Doohickie. I watch the games but never seem to find the motivation nor the time to do the research. Life gets in the way. But I do appreciate everything the nerds and wonks bring to the board. I've played hockey all my life but I learn something new every time I log in. And this place is a hoot so thanks to Scott also.

Not crazy about his parents choice of names. Quick, somebody slap them. Someone upthread said he had like 12 minutes a game on a strong Blues squad. Hopefully they throw him into some situations that weren't coming his way on the Blues so he gains some confidence. He's 20. Give him a chance.

Underwhelmed but oh well. This explains the last 10 or so years of Sabres hockey so how can I be pissed about this ? I can't and I won't let it affect me. I'm excited about Dahlin and Lord Casey and a few of the other younguns and the team is different than the pile of trash we iced last year so onwards and hopefully upwards.
