15 SOG against a mediocre team. Anyone else not excited despite the tie?

Bad goal by Ennis.

Jack has had no SOG.

What's troublesome is that Hutton won his first 6 in a row. If we could get another good run out of him and then trade him.... or at least have him be steady instead of having standings-killing slides for 3 months.
Therapy!

Ullmark is playing better and better. Too bad he has little help.
-
Risto absolutely has no feel for the game. The amazing thing is that he admits it.

Sabourin. I wonder if he is related to Gary, a scrappy red headed winger from about the 1967- 1976 era.
Wondering the same thing. Also, Bob Sabourin from even earlier times.

Typical Sabres game after a break. As Ray says, they're standing around watching. When does it end?

Are you just as mad when Eichel holds onto the freakin puck on the PP for 7-9 seconds multiple times in one PP? It’s so annoying and counter productive. Move the puck Jack.
Totally agree.

Jack's costly penalty exemplified why he shouldn't be double shifting as much as is (despite the injuries). He was so winded when he got to the box, he gave the impression he relished the break, even there. Also, playing when your "dead on your feet" puts you at risk for picking up dumb, costly penalties (which is what occurred) or getting injured.

Hate to pile on but Bogo's skating is a problem
and those two shifts were cornucopias of errors
He was slow the entire game and also made some bad decisions with the puck.

Ullmark was brilliant. Lost the game because of two bad penalties in the third.

Anyone else notice Jack doesn't seem like himself tonight?
You mean he's not carrying the team?

There isn’t one player that we received from the ROR trade, 1.5 years ago, that is lacing it up in the NHL right now
It's called charity.

I would do it if only to add pressure to Botterill - sharing an office with your potential replacement tends to increase performance.
He's under plenty pressure as it is.

Good!

Having a one man team is embarrassing to say the least.

The thing that irks with me the most is I look back to around this time 5 years ago and hopeful of getting and eichel/mcdavid and looking forward to things getting better. Now at this time in 2020 I am so thoroughly fed up and disgusted with the whole situation. I am now for the first time in botterills tenure starting to seriously question whether he should remain and that he actually knows what he is doing???
St. Louis likes what he's doing.

Mitts has talent. But when does it come out of hiding?

Love the between periods critique on Risto attempting to play defense.
