I like Bryson and his physical game has been improving, very good skater, unselfish... gotten better as a passer... slowly putting it all together... hope he comes back.

Trade is fine doesnt move the needle much but fine... KA needs to learn to play Poker better... change up his strategies so others dont get a full read on him... play possom sometimes... be aggressive others, be shrewd, tough and others play dumb... he has a few of these down but its the same old schtick and too easy to read... he needs to make deals earlier instead scraping the bottom of the barrel late... if a team is playing games... back out and be public about it even if you still intend to talk later... etc..

The problem with NY State isn't teachers salaries. It's welfare and all the giveaway programs. I deal with it but that's what needs to be addressed. Productive workers.
Giveaways to the military industrial complex and the Beltway Bandits make up over 65% of fed budget, 20% for Medicare that leaves 15% for the rest... in NY the big suckking sound goes to the bottomless pit of the MTA... I dont begrudge teacher salaries when we have wall street leaches make billions but not really providing any societal benefit... sorry for the rant against the crabs in the pot pulling each other down when others are boiling the water...

People forget that taxes do in fact pay for things. The suburbs of Buffalo have some really good schools with a lot of support services that get paid for by property taxes. I know a friend with a child that has a speech issue, they lived in the burbs here and in pre-k were getting services. They moved to texas and get nothing. They are now paying extra for a private speech pathologist, but hey! Their property taxes are lower.
That said, to each their own. Some ppl value the longer summers and more moderate climate, some like winters, some like the services they get here and some want lower taxes. Live where you want, all places have pros and cons.
Agreed, if I had to pay for health insurance, meds... my protected union pension id go broke fast in a slaughterhouse like Texas. Sorry, Ill take the cold.

My older brother's wife has a place on Canandaigua and town is too busy in the summer but early fall is beautiful... been by a lot of the finger lakes and they are wonderful but upper Lake George and upper Lake Champlain are awesome without the crowds... hard to pick one... havent spent a lot of time near Ontario, so no insight... I spent my summers as a kid and young adult on The Georgian Bay near Bobby Orr's hometown of Parry Sound... 30k islands up there and water clean enough to see down 40ft... so for me nothing compares...

CB Nice shot, goes to the net... little slow in his skating but strong stride... strong on the puck... bet if learns to pick it up a bit will be a good pick... dont see the hate but kid is tough.

Hate the Oilers because they were literally gifted McDavid for being inept and thus causing the lottery system to be implemented and modified by winning it 4 out of 6 years I believe. Meanwhile we have yet to move up once in a draft after 13 years of suffering.
Dallas Stars the franchise is not going to get any sympathy or happiness from me. I do have conciliatory feelings though if they win thanks to Pavelski.
Florida has multiple former Sabres but also resides in our division so eh.
The Rangers, my only strong feelings I have is that it was absurd we lost a home game to “host” them at Citi Field
That was a weird game... was there, it was brr cold... O'Reilly ding one off the cross bar that went so high everyone lost track of it and landed in front of the net... fun game..
I am rooting probably for Rangers as I am now local but really dont care except to watch good hockey.

I know Carolina has quite a few forward plus Chatfield and one other D. I'd be interested in seeing a list on who is available this summer and if any guys fit the Sabres needs?

Now where are all you guys who said LaFreniere was a bust? I know you're hiding out there 🙂
He took a while to figure it out... finally matured and has but for a while I get why they said it... wildly inconsistent until this year.

Johnson was a rookie... needs a few pounds... good outlet passer and skater... point shot meh and in corners he needs to be harder... he will learn and like what I saw but he got screwed gtfoh... Bryson was better and yes it takes a few years to develop...
-
Back to show me... Find a scorer with some guts... push the rest of these pansies... guess Ollie left because he realized he could no long float... Skinner will be in the press box.
