I think that's why they hired him. The price was probably right, if you catch my drift. He's on a student visa so it's not a major commitment to get us some extra help.
Kept going to school so he didn't have to go back to his country.

Ooh no pink. I know I don't stand alone when I say many women who play sports rather despise pink anywhere near the uniform. Breast cancer awareness or a special jersey, fine, but I know I'd personally be disgusted to have pink on my jersey unless it was also part of the city's men's team's jerseys too. I have a pink vendetta.
With a name like Beauts - play up that 50's biker look. Unless with that Sabre in their design they are going for 1850's pirate style.
I wasn't talking pastel type pink - I was talking women's flat track roller derby bad-ass pink.

Seriously? Every game is on a Sunday?
Don't the leagues you play in often always play at the same time/day? Gotta find a open time slot for ice where you can.
Probably not the brightest idea in a town like Buffalo. But they are probably hoping to get the young girls who don't like football crowd.
By the way - did they pick the 2 most simple and boring options for uniforms for the Beauts?
Since it is the beauts - I would have thrown in like one hot pink stripe somewhere in the uniform.

Not "cartoon strips;" BLOOM ####ing COUNTY.
This like the ####ing Beatles getting back together. Only better. ;) Though now that John & George are no more, the Beatles getting back together would be a very close 2nd to this blessed event.
How much would tickets to that show cost?

I'm just glad that Very Old Barton 100 didn't make that hipster list.

RIP Van.

More importantly does anyone know the penalty for driving into a Tim Horton's in Canada?
You are banned from that store for 6 months. You have to use the one across the street.
-
A hockey player getting wasted and wrecking into a Tim Horton's? Sorry, too much Canadian-ness in one headline. Try again please.
Right; eh?
They really need to start calling them drive-arounds rather than drive-thrus.

I hope you were a good husband and went in after that and got the dress for your wife.
What color is the dress? White & Gold or Black & Blue?

Wait, wait, wait.... now you're telling me Sam Reinhart is someone we should be excited about? I thought we were trying to trade him!
That was so 3 hours ago. Now we are keeping Reinhart and trying to trade Eichel.

Auto correct. Sue me.
Seriously? An extra D threw you off the trail?
He can score and help out on the D.

Harbor Center.
Good deal.
-
Have they announced where they will be playing at?

The Buffalo's thank you.
The Sabre PA guy had a few of those over the night. Take your time - say it right.
Bailey with another flub in the shootout - bust.

Fresh homemade pesto. It's probably the only thing keeping me from going postal right now, but the rest will have to wait until next Thursday.
If you need me to come down tomorrow just let me know. I won't be able to help you with any of your home fixes but I will eat your leftover pesto.

If you're not a pure goal scorer nowadays - shoot high glove side.

WNY Polaks represent!
What can be better,
Polska!
na zdrowie!

Good trade for both sides - gives Chi needed d help and gives the Stars a little more punch on the scoring side.
-
Stars acquire Patrick Sharp and Steven Johns from Blackhawks in exchange for Ryan Garbutt and Trevor Daley

There was some 'noice' organ playin'.
-
Reinhart - easy peasy. From Carrier and Chukarov? GMTM might actually have a smile on his face now.
-
Carrier with a goal and an assist and GMTM smirks a little bit more.
-
A strong defense beats a talented offense most days in the current NHL.
-
McDavid would have scored there
Reinhart would have scored there.
I said the Sabres would get 101 points in the John Shannon thread - I might have to trend that down to 51 points after seeing these first 2 periods of Jack Eichel.
Buffalo Bills 2015
in The Aud Club
Posted
Per the BufNews article - he had a 20 year deadline to spend the money because he wanted people that actually knew him to help see where the money went.

Why will the whole trust be spent within 20 years?
“Ralph saw first hand the impact of his generosity in his lifetime,” stated his wife, Mary M. Wilson. Always thinking of others, he hoped the foundation’s work would have “a direct impact in the lifetimes of those who knew him best,” she added.
“This time frame was established so that the organization’s impact will be immediate, substantial and measurable,” the foundation stated in an email response to a question from The News.
