Ullmark was positioned to lock up that point shot if it hadn't been tipped two feet in front of him by Kunin who was allowed to go to the front of the net totally unimpeded. Unfair to ask a goalie to handle that cleanly. Sabres need to clean things up in their own end.

I think that got tipped which stopped Ullmark from locking it up clean. Give the negative credit to the Sabres D who failed to manage their turf.

I look forward to Housley acting like finally giving Sam his own line was no big deal

Minnesota is one of those teams that I just don't pay any attention to. They've got some talent but they're not interesting at all. And this year they really aren't much better than us.

I like the idea of breaking the top line up to try to get other things going and then putting the top line back together. I've been banging the drum for months now that Reinhart needs his own line. I just don't agree with Phil's combos. I also think he will be too quick to put the top line back together if things don't go well tomorrow night. He knee-jerked last time too.

He *is* in Rochester on conditioning. But conditioning stints are limited in length. So they had to waive him to give him a longer conditioning assignment. It was a safe move to assume no one would claim someone who was injured.
