So that's what, 2 goals that shouldn't have been scored due to missed penalties on Pit... and the no call on the double minor High Stick to Dahlin? When it rains, it pours.

Debating on even watching, not a warm feeling anticipating their 15th loss... at least they're consistent with something! 😵☠ But anything is possible right?

Anyone think the language had any part of it? 50/50? 🤔 Think the firing was a way to try and stave off the pitchforks and torches at the NHLs door from all the fairweather and less knowledgeable fans. "Make up" calls happen and have happened for a long time, from the NHL to beer league. While not a surprise to most of us, it was probably fact that it was so well documented that lead to the firing. Nothing shocks me any more after last year, I was just amused that it was actually caught by the mic and was heard.

I believe the trip is what CAUSED the "high stick", but I totally agree. That was poorly missed call. The beginning wasn't so hot, 2 goals in the first 4 SOG... but he got the butterflies out and once they started to score, he settled into the game. It's interesting to hear them talk about him, how optimistic and positive they talk about him... just hope he wasn't another Lehner situation... but it's the Avs we're talking about here. They're no slouch.

For those interested and can watch it, he's getting his first start for COL tonight. And he let's in the first shot that made it to him...

Other then that, he's actually been decent this year. Sadly, he's been the only physical force on the ice. But, I digress... in that play he was.

I didn't like how there was no one pulling the Ranger off Hutton and give him a little hell. I know it was self-inflicted. As a goalie and watching games for so long, I don't know why Dmen push guys into their goalies like that, I've seen it so much.

Honestly, he's not looking too bad as of right now... Houser next in line, I believe. What a season this is turning out to be... Oi!

So which is worse, being traded for a 6th? Or traded for future considerations? I know the considerations can be conditional, but the fact the compensation isn't up front...

Did the trade speculation and game postponement come out near the same time? Could the deal be pending on COVID test coming back negative due to the possible exposure? This season is going to be in the records for several reasons at this point.

Did JJ get hurt off ice? He wasn't at practice, and trade rumors are purely speculation at this point. Wasn't Granato tight lipped about it? Is Linus out for the rest of the season? The rumor about Col being interested in JJ has been circulating for a bit, so it's easy to put that together. With the way last year went, what we thought the season would be looking at the roster, I'd say nothing is straight forward as it seems.

Maybe it's a package deal, more then one player each way? The anticipation is growing. Will admit, the Houser signing sets up some different angles of speculation.

Well, it is practice... and with the way our defense, team as as whole have been hanging our goalies out to dry... it's not entirely his fault.
