‘“You come off an injury and not an easy injury when you’re talking about a concussion and his game was off and he’s trying to get it back on track. I’ve seen it tough for some of our forwards going back to last year with Pominville, I said he wasn’t right for a month. It took a month before you really felt like that delay in his game was gone. He passed the test, he was supposed to be OK, but there’s just something about the way he was playing that didn’t seem right so I think it’s the severity and when they come back, I’ve seen very few players that just have come back and been right where you say, ‘Man he’s right where he needs to be’. It’s always been ‘Boy, it looks like it’s going to take a few games to get used to the grind’.”’
