‘“I didn’t want the start I had last year,” Myers said Thursday after practice. “I think I did the right thing this year coming in with the mindset of playing really solid defense. I think that’s exactly what I needed to do this year, especially with the start I had last year. Coming in, making sure I’m taking care of my own end first was a huge part. At the same time, I think now that I’ve started to find my rhythm defensively, I can try to start taking a little bit more risks offensively.”’
