‘Tyler Myers was working out with Henrik Tallinder today in place of Toni Lydman, who is dealing with a hand injury. Lydman was skating with the team but just as an extra. He will not play. Lindy Ruff said that Myers will make his NHL debut tomorrow against the Canadiens. “He’s played well. Maybe started a little slow, but his last few games played very good hockey for us so he’s earned it. He’s earned the right to play, he’s played as good or better than other players.”‘
