The win extends the Sabres' unbeaten streak to nine (8-0-1). They make it 10 the next day in Quebec with a 3-2 win before, of course, reeling off six straight losses! January 22, 1997 In the second game of a seven-game homestand at Marine Midland Arena, the Sabres harass the Habs, 6-1, to win their fourth straight game.
