The Boston Bruins clam-chowder the Sabres 9-0 at the Boston Garden. The defeat is the worst in Sabres' history, but it has company: it's the fifth time the team has lost a game by nine goals. Incredibly, the Sabres lose two more games by the same score in the next year.
