matter2003 Posted December 21, 2006 Report Share Posted December 21, 2006 This team seems to be a little overly impressed with their own abilities lately...not working hard enough to win games, and trying to make all the cutesy plays instead of just scoring goals the way they have been which is a variety of methods....they took the cute plays when they were there but they also were scoring a lot going to the net, which they aren't doing with regularity anymore.... I am not worried, because this team has the right players to get out of their little funk they are in, but it is a little strange to see a team that prides itself in hard work get so consistently outworked lately, as they appear to be waiting for someone to score a highlight reel goal instead of just putting their nose to the grindstone... There are quite a few occassions over the past month where a player has not taken a high quality shot and instead made a very pretty pass to a teammate that didn't score.
