Two or less Posted November 21, 2006 Report Share Posted November 21, 2006 I don't really know how much if any this matters based on a few games, but, Mike Funk has totally impressed me. The kid lacks the basic NHL knowledge and his positioning if off at times but that will fix it self with expierence, practice with NHLers and games in AHL... but his skill is pretty solid. He was jumping in on the play, he was in very good positioning on defense to make the defensive stop, he wasn't afriad, he looked like he was up for any challange and besides the 1 play vs. ottawa where he fell, he looked solid too from what i saw on tv... and he even played PK in Ottawa so i would have to assume the coaches are very impressed with Funk. I really wish Lydman would return because we're obviously better with him, but i definetly want to see more of Funk this season in Buffalo. The guy holds is own.
