Until the last couple years where he was way past his prime, he'd fight or hit anybody. Minus the Niedermayer incident, I have the utmost respect for the way he played the game. He was a tough SOB, but never a sabre killer, so i didn't have much hate for him... The neidermayer thing was bad, but he appologized.
