My two daughters (8 and 11) have become big SABRES fans. We are in the Southern Tier and got up early on Sunday and made the 2 hour trip to HSBC arena. We sat in the first row, by the glass.. right behind the bench. Seats I would never be able to afford! Max smiled and waved at my 8 year old while he was stretching - she came unglued!!! Danny Briere winked at my 11 year old, she came unglued! What a GREAT DAY! Folks .. if you have never been to an open practice/scrimmage it is worth the trip .. and these guys on our team are awesome! Not just good hockey players, but great guys! Man!
