Yellow buffalo/slug: ? Hope this isn't a bad omen. I'll go on the record and say that the new jerseys per the leak today look cool. HOWEVER, my biggest problem with all of this is the lack of a WHITE buffalo. From what my grandfather told me (and this could be wrong, but he's 86 and the biggest Sabres fan I know), the white buffalo was purposely used in the 1970 logo because of the symbolism of good luck with the native americans.
