Has anyone had the chance to see some of the kids from the area over the last year or two, especially ones that are draft eligible now? I'm thinking of two kids in particular, goalie Bret Bennett and forward Patrck Kane. They've been playing in the US developmental program, so they aren't in the area. Still, maybe some people have had a chance to see these kids play. Bennett has committed to play at Boston University next season. Kane is still a year off, but he's already been getting a lot of hype for the 07 draft, almost Kessel-like hype. Has anyone heard much about these kids? Feel free to mention any other locals who are currently playing in juniors or college, or anyone about to take that next step.
