May 14, 1998

The Sabres beat the Canadiens 3-1 in Game 4 at the Molson Centre, the only time in the Montreal franchise's history they have been swept on home ice in a seven-game series. The Sabres are outshot 38-15 but prevail on the heroics of Dominik Hasek and goals by Matt Barnaby, Donald Audette and Miroslav Satan.

 

May 14, 1999

Dominik Hasek makes 24 saves to shut out the Bruins in Game 4 at Marine Midland Arena as the Sabres take a three games to one lead in the Eastern Conference semifinals. Alexei Zhitnik has the winning goal on the power play. Other Sabre goals come from Vaclav Varada at even strength and shorthanded by Mike Peca.
