Would you consider sitting Vanek for Novotny?

Vanek can change a game. He is a big time athlete, if he has a good game, he can pull a Connolly-type preformance at any moment. Not to mention he is a big body and he does hit, and did it well vs. Philly.

 

The problem is Vanek can "change" a game for the good or the bad. Go watch the highlights of him cruising in the defensive zone as Spezza scores the first Ottawa goal on Friday.

 

I'm as excited as anyone, but I think the chance of Vanek hurting this team is much greater than it is that he helps the team.

 

 

Now watch him go out and prove me wrong tomorrow night. :)
