In Montreal, Dominik Hasek stops Mark Recchi on a penalty shot. The Sabres and Habs tie.

 

March 8, 1997

In Montreal, Dominik Hasek stops Vincent Damphousse on a penalty shot. The Sabres and Habs tie.

 

March 8, 2002

Marty Biron pitches a 26-save shutout for the second time in 24 hours and Chris Gratton scores the winner as the Sabres blank the Canadiens at HSBC Arena, 3-0. Mr. Microphone and mates had shut out the Islanders the night before on Long Island, 5-0. They are the ninth and 10th shutouts of Biron's career.
