Winning shoot-outs could be the difference between Home Ice or Golfing in the spring.... Could the new rule create a need for this type of player (e.g. Long-snapper)? If it were up to me, in addition to the aforementioned three, I'd consider Ales Kotalik, Maximum Afinogenov, and perhaps Vanek, if he gets some breaks. You folks that live in Buffalo think other teams actually want to trade for one of these guys. I keep seeing this nonsense where the Sabres should trade Biron ( for example ) to LA for Aaron Miller. Home town folks tend to idolize their heroes to the point where they don't see that the hero is average at best. This is the case with the Sabres goalies. I'm sorry, but they are simply not that good.` If Regier were to trade Biron, he'd be lucky to get a 3rds line winger - unless the trade was made with a team looking to make a salary dump.
