matter2003 Posted March 18, 2007 Report Share Posted March 18, 2007 You would think at home, we would have a better penalty killing percentage, but we are 2nd from the bottom, ahead of only lowly Phoenix at 78.6%... Road we are better(tho maybe not after tonite's game :>) at 84%, which actually puts us at 9th in the NHL...Pittsburgh has the worst road penalty killing in the league at 74.9%, but one of the best home penalty killing units at 86.9%... However, we do have a better PP at home, averaging 19.3% versus 15.5% on the road... Just some food for thought.... Actually, percentage wise, we are better killing penalties on the road than last year when we were 83.5%...our home penalty killing percentage has fallen through the floor tho....
