February 12, 1977

With starting goalie Gerry Desjardins out with an eye injury, the Sabres call up their top goaltending prospect, Don Edwards, from the minors.

 

February 12, 1983

Craig Ramsay's streak of 776 straight games for the Sabres ends when he can't possibly suit up at Calgary. He has a broken foot. To make things worse, the Sabres lose, 4-2.
