  1. They controlled the offensive zone for most of the period, have nothing to show for it, and start the second period down a man for 1:42. So frustrating.
  2. Ellis got tested and came up huge. Then the Sabres take a stupid penalty with 18.2 seconds to go in the period. Ugh.
  3. If only the Sabres had a GM who could rectify that issue... <sigh>
  4. Just find a way to at least get it tied before the period ends. Have to get at least a point.
  5. That's always disappointing...
  6. Dahlin pretty much said that same thing in his post game interview. He said, "This is how we play from now on."
  7. Nobody is saying that. I'm pretty sure that the point @LGR4GM was making was that the Sabres were without two of their most important players, as well. At the end of the year, they look at the points you accumulated not who did or didn't play in them. The Barkov-less and Tkachuk-less Panthers still had Bobrovsky in goal and were generously given ten power plays by the officials yet didn't net one goal. Credit the Sabres for a solid win. Period.
  8. Lyon presented Doan with the Saber after the game and called Josh 'The Doan Show'.
  9. Yep. I was shocked that they didn't pull their goalie around the 4 minute mark. By they time he was still there at the 3 minute mark, I knew that they were conceding. I found it strange but whatever. It didn't matter for the Sabres. Our guys owned the game from start to finish despite the inordinate amount of penalties.
  10. Awesome! Congrats, Gramps! 😎
  11. That's like choosing a favorite child. Not gonna do it. 😇
  12. 'The Aud Club' reports of the Sabres not registering a win by the end of October were greatly exaggerated...
  13. Sabres are now 22 for 23 on the PK this season.
  14. 11 goals in the last two games. Daddy likey!
  15. Deservedly gets the first star. 😎
  16. Bobo staying in the net. They are conceding. These smothering Sabres have broken their will.
