I feel a cold coming on. :(
I've had a cold for almost three days now. Today has been by far the worst. Thank god I got to wake up and watch some hockey promptly at noon (albeit Carolina :thumbdown: ). Can't wait til tomorrow, hope to be feeling better.

Just wasted 30 minutes of my life watching one of the most stupid television shows ever, Tosh.0.
Actually, I shouldn't complain. It was also one of the funniest and sharply written shows I've seen in a long time. Talk about your guilty pleasures.

Why does this board filter out some of the more general swear words? I can see racist remarks and things of that nature being blocked, but "shit", "ass", "heII", etc. What is this, middle school? It sucks when I try to use one of those words and then have to go edit my post because nobody knows what ###### curse word I'm using.

I've looked all over the internet after seeing one on ebay two or three years ago. I can't find one anywhere and have only come across goathead/slug ones, and one with a classic logo but was nylon material.
if anyone has one or knows where to get one please let me know!

i'm finally entering the world of contracted employment (previously i've only held a few under-the-table jobs, plus some free-lance web design work), and thus am being introduced to taxes. enough said.

it rains too much in WNY. i go outside for the briefest amount of time after it rains and my feet and the bottom of my pants get soaked.

Let me clear myself up -- I was out until 5:30 last night, finally got to sleep about 6 or 7. THEN had to get up at 9. ;]

and back to the NHL's "double standards" on why Lecalvier won't be suspended for the cheapshot on Max. Looked very similar to the Bertuzzi incident, spare the injury.

If you can go into a (strong) opponent's house after a 5-day layoff, having just come from your city which has been nailed by a deadly snowstorm, and get ANY points, much less the win, you're the better team in my book. And that's after spotting them a 2-0 lead on boneheaded miscues.
imo the only pretty part of the sabres game tonight was obviously miller, & special teams. don't get me wrong, i would have been happy with a OT loss, or shootout loss, or just a hard fought regulation loss. not going to change my oppinion on the sabres skill.
but it doesn't take a genius to know the red wings overall played a better game than the sabres tonight.

overall they may be.

Roy has been great.. and not just because he has five goals already, but his all around game has been great. He's everywhere and plays with tenacity most of the team sorely lacks. Statistically he will have to cool down at some point but as long as he plays at the level he has been I will be happy with him. It seems he's come a long way from diving and complaining... IDK how his off-the-ice leadership is but he is doing everything right on the ice (well besides not covering Kovalchuk).
